Three Infused Water Recipes to Try

 

Hydration is crucial for our bodies to function properly. Since our bodies are made of 80% water, dehydration can result in mental fog, dry skin, and overall decreased functioning. Still, it can be challenging to remember to drink the recommended amount of water. Luckily, with a little bit of creativity and some ingredients you likely already have in your fridge, you’ll be craving your eight glasses a day! Infused water uses natural flavors to give your water an exciting kick without the sugar or preservatives found in other beverages – and it’s easy to do at home! Never forget a glass again with these three infused water recipes.  

Honeydew, Lemon, Raspberry 

Dice the honeydew melon and slice the lemon into thin slices with the peel left on. Lightly crush the raspberries to release their flavor. Place all the ingredients in the top of an infuser pitcher, or in a mason jar. Allow the mixture to sit in the fridge for at least four hours, or overnight, for the best flavor. 

Blueberry, Cucumber, Mint 

 

Slice the cucumber long-ways into spears, and slightly crush a handful of mint. Place all the ingredients in the top of an infusing pitcher or in a mason jar. Allow the mixture to sit in the fridge for at least four hours, or overnight, for the best results.  

Mango, Raspberry, Ginger 

 

Peel and dice the mango. Slightly crush the raspberries. Peel and grate the ginger, adjusting the amount depending on flavor strength preference. Allow the mixture to sit in the fridge for at least four hours, or overnight, for the best results.
